I am the firm owner and Attorney.  I am licensed to practice law in Washington State.  My practice focuses on family law, but I practice a small amount civil litigation as well.  Prior to opening my own firm, I worked in firms for over 10 years--since I was 19 years old.  As a paralegal for most of those years, I represented corporate clients.  I would say my biggest achievement was working on a team that defended Fortune 500 companies in high profile and highly complex litigation. The reason I love law so much is because it grants me the ability to help people, and, perhaps, touch their life.  My practice is unique in that it allows me that reward, and simultaneously helps someone in need.

After watching my parents divorce when I was a teenager, I understand the emotional impact a divorce has on everyone in the family.  It is, perhaps, one of the most difficult changes a family will ever face. Although each situation is different, I try to offer my clients compassion and optimism.  Each client has goals and expectations, and it is my job to help achieve them.  Results are my number one priority.  My knowledge of the law allows me to counsel and educate my clients.  That direct contact with people, and the ability to help facilitate a solution is the reason I thoroughly enjoy my practice.

When I am not practicing law, I like to spend time with my family and friends.  During football season, I spend every Sunday at my parents' house cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.  In addition to football, I enjoy hot yoga, everything about Seattle, a little golf and traveling.
